We see ourselves as committed Christians prepared to stand against spiritual forces within the community where we live. We are the last Outpost within the enemy’s territory. Surrounded by people who need our help, a community that needs us to lead them to Christ...

The Outpost is more than just a Christian community. It is a group of believers who are committed to standing against spiritual forces within their community. They see themselves as trained warriors for Christ in the spiritual battle that they were thrust into when they chose to follow Him.

The Outpost is a unique name for a Christian home church. It comes from the military term "outpost," which describes a small military camp or position at some distance from the main army as a guard against surprise attack. The members of The Outpost understand that they are the last outpost within the enemy’s territory. They are surrounded by people who need their help, a community that needs them to lead them to Christ, and spiritual forces that they must fight against. Ephesians 6:11 [KJV] / Heb.4:12. [KJV]

Their goal is to present the best version of oneself in Christ to enable people to make a choice to follow Him. To do this, they need to give people a choice by presenting Christ to people to the best of their ability in their actions and with their words. The Outpost aims to reconnect people to the Bible, Jesus, and God, and to build a faith-based life. Jas 1:22 [KJV]

As members of The Outpost, they understand that it takes discipline to follow Jesus Christ, and that’s what discipleship is. To be a disciple is to be one who has the discipline to follow Christ day after day after day. The simplicity of Christ must be their basic rule of understanding. If it’s about oneself, it's false, but if it's about Him, it's true. Rom 10:17 [KJV]

The Outpost believes that believing leads to faith, faith leads to action, and healing happens. They see themselves as committed Christians prepared to stand against spiritual forces within the community where they live. They are trained believers endeavouring to be warriors for Christ in the spiritual battle that they are in. Heb 11:6 [KJV]

At The Outpost, they are here in the community to seek out those who want to follow Jesus and become fellow workers for Him. They take a stand against a powerful enemy, but they have their Victory in Jesus because He has given them the spiritual ability to fight the enemy. They must train themselves to be able to win the fight that He has already won for them. The victory is theirs as they endeavour to operate with the skillset, they have developed over time by studying with discipline and application.

The Outpost members continue steadfastly in the apostles' doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers. They trust in the Lord with all their heart and lean not unto their own understanding. In all their ways, they acknowledge Him, knowing He shall direct their paths. Act 2:42-47 [KJV] / Pro 3:5,6 [KJV]
