Seize Every Moment: Declaring Christ to a World in Need!
Bold witness, urgent prayer, and truth spoken in love—while it is day…
In these urgent times, believers face a sacred responsibility that cannot be postponed or delegated—declaring Christ to those who desperately need Him. When we gather with family, friends, colleagues, or even strangers, opportunities arise that we must recognise and seize with boldness and compassion. The question echoes through eternity: if not us, then who? If not now, then when?
Scripture reminds us that our time is limited and precious. "I must work the works of him that sent me, whilst it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work" [John 9:4 KJV]. Jesus Himself understood the urgency of His mission, and we must embrace that same sense of divine appointment. Every conversation, every gathering, every chance encounter could be someone's only opportunity to hear the gospel.
When someone shares a burden or faces a crisis, we mustn't simply offer sympathetic words—we must pray with authority, faith, and expectation. James instructs us: "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" [James 5:16 KJV]. Our prayers aren't merely comforting gestures; they're powerful declarations that move heaven and transform earth. When we pray with genuine faith, believing God's promises, we participate in His miraculous work.
Paul's exhortation rings as true today as when first written: "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine" [2 Timothy 4:2 KJV]. Being "instant" means being ready, prepared, and willing regardless of circumstances or convenience. We cannot wait for perfect moments—we must create them through Spirit-led sensitivity and courage.
The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers remain few [Matthew 9:37 KJV]. Countless souls around us are perishing without Christ, trapped in darkness, desperate for hope they don't even know exists. We carry the message of eternal life, the only solution to humanity's deepest problem. How can we remain silent when we possess what people so desperately need?
Fear often paralyses believers from sharing their faith. We worry about rejection, offending others, or saying the wrong thing. Yet Scripture assures us: "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind" [2 Timothy 1:7 KJV]. Our boldness doesn't originate from natural confidence but from the Holy Spirit working through us.
When praying for the unsaved, we must pray with unwavering faith, believing that God desires all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of truth [1 Timothy 2:4 KJV]. Our prayers should be specific, fervent, and persistent, trusting that "the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him" [2 Chronicles 16:9 KJV].
The apostles modelled this urgency perfectly. Despite persecution, imprisonment, and threats, they declared: "We cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard" [Acts 4:20 KJV]. They understood that remaining silent wasn't an option when eternal destinies hung in the balance.
As believers, we must adopt this same conviction. Every gathering presents opportunities—a colleague struggling with addiction, a neighbour facing illness, a family member wrestling with depression. These aren't coincidences but divine appointments orchestrated by a loving God who positions us strategically.
The time is now. The need is urgent. The harvest awaits. If not us, then who will declare Christ? If not now, then when? Let us arise with holy boldness, pray with mountain-moving faith, and declare the gospel with unflinching courage, knowing that "faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" [Romans 10:17 KJV].

Changed Lives, Living Faith, & Answers that Point People to Christ!
When Christ changes the heart, the world starts asking why…

A Changed Life Gets Noticed
When Christ truly changes a heart, people notice, and not because you’re trying to look spiritual, but because something real has happened on the inside. That’s the point—Christianity isn’t learning the right words and carrying a religious form, it’s the living Christ bringing real power, real conviction, and real change. And that change isn’t you straining to be better; it’s you abiding in the Vine, depending on Jesus to supply what He commands, with grace not only forgiving you, but training you to say no to ungodliness and yes to righteousness. As that kind of life takes shape, the world starts asking questions, and you don’t need a showy answer—you simply point them to Christ with meekness, because the hope in you isn’t a performance, it’s a Person…

Your Standing with God is Anchored in Christ!
When faith feels shaky, Christ remains steady—and so does your place in Him…

The Foundation That Never Shifts
If you’ve ever laid your head down at night wondering, “Am I acceptable to God today… and what about tomorrow?”, this teaching is for you. So many people are living in anxious religion, measuring their standing with God by performance, feelings, consistency, and “how well they did” this week. But the Word of God cuts right through that noise and brings us back to the foundation that never shifts: your standing with God is anchored in Jesus Christ, and in His finished work alone.
When Jesus said, “It is finished,” He wasn’t making salvation possible—He was securing it. That’s why there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ, and why you don’t have to crawl into God’s presence hoping He’s in a good mood. You come boldly to the throne of grace, not because you’ve been perfect, but because Christ is your access. And when you fail, you don’t spiral into fear and doubt—you confess, you return quickly, and you keep walking, because your position is safe in Him.
This is what it means to live from acceptance, not for acceptance. Drop anchor. Rest. Stop trying to secure what Jesus has already secured—and watch how this truth changes the way you pray, the way you obey, and the way you face storms…

What Does Christ Think of His Church Today?
Examining the heart of Christ towards His bride & our call to faithful living…

A Call to Revival!
In this teaching blog I’m asking us to slow down and honestly face one big question: what does Jesus think of His Church right now? Not in a vague, “out there” kind of way, but right where we are—because the Church is His beloved bride, and He paid for her with His own blood.
I’m calling us back to holiness and to a faith that’s truly lived, not just talked about. It’s so easy to drift into comfortable religion—busy, familiar, and lukewarm—while our hearts grow dull. So this is a gentle but firm wake-up call to repent, to let the Word of God shape our thinking again, and to refuse the watered-down messages that have crept in.
At the same time, I’m reminding us that truth must be held with love. Christ wants a Church that stands strong on sound doctrine, but also walks in humility, forgiveness, and real unity. My prayer is that this stirs personal revival—through repentance, prayer, and fresh obedience—trusting the Lord to restore what we truly surrender to Him…

Most People Want Their Own Version of Christianity, Not the Biblical One!
Most people want comfort without surrender, but Jesus calls us to a truth that changes us…

Christianity on Your Terms?
Most people do not mind Jesus as long as He fits the version of faith they already like, but the moment His Word corrects, confronts, or calls for surrender, many try to edit the message instead of letting the message edit them. The Bible does not give us a faith we can customise like a buffet. It gives us truth revealed by God, and the mark of a real disciple is continuing in Christ’s Word even when it challenges our opinions and exposes our sin. That is why repentance cannot be removed from the gospel, because grace is not a soft permission slip to stay the same, it is God’s power to turn us from our way to His way. Scripture also warns that “itching ears” will push people to hunt for teachers who agree with them, while ignoring the parts of God’s Word that demand holiness and a cross-bearing life. And when trials come, a self-made, comfort-first Christianity collapses, but a faith anchored in Christ holds steady. We are saved by grace through faith, not by effort, yet saving grace always produces real change, because Jesus is not a life coach. Jesus is King, and His kingdom, righteousness, and commands must come first…

How to Start Strong: Build Your Foundation in Christ (Teaching 1)
The first steps into Spirit-filled, Scripture-grounded living…

Why the first step matters
This first teaching is a call to start the right way, because a strong Christian life is not built on moods, culture, or personal preference, but on the unshakable foundation of Jesus Christ and the truth of His Word. I’m reminding you that storms do not prove whether God is good, they reveal what you have been building on, and if the foundation is weak, life will expose it. So before we get into the practical “how to” parts, we settle what must be settled: who Jesus is, and who you are in Him, because Christianity is not self-improvement, it is new life. From there, I’m encouraging you to make repentance normal, not dramatic, by quickly agreeing with God when He corrects something and taking simple steps of obedience right away. The goal is not to collect information, but to move into transformation by doing what you read. If you can give the Lord a steady daily rhythm of Scripture, prayer, and one clear act of obedience, you will start laying a foundation that lasts, and you will not have to walk it alone, because God strengthens believers through real connection to the Body and being truly planted...

The Urgent Call: Stand Bold for God Today!
Because silence is not an option when souls are at stake…
The world has never needed bold Christians more than it does right now. In an age where truth is ridiculed, morality is questioned, and faith is marginalised, those who possess the truth of God's Word must stand with unwavering courage. This isn't a call for the future—it's a summons for today. The time for passive Christianity has passed; the hour demands believers who will boldly proclaim God's truth regardless of the cost.
Scripture repeatedly calls God's people to courage. In [Joshua 1:9 KJV], God commanded Joshua: "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." This divine instruction wasn't meant only for Joshua—it echoes through the ages to every believer facing opposition. We serve the same God who promised His presence then, and He walks with us now.
The Apostle Paul demonstrated this boldness throughout his ministry. In [Ephesians 6:19-20 KJV], even whilst imprisoned, he requested prayer "that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel... that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak." Paul understood that boldness wasn't optional—it was essential to faithful gospel proclamation. If Paul needed boldness whilst enduring chains for Christ, how much more do we need it in our comparatively comfortable circumstances?
Jesus Himself modelled fearless witness. When religious leaders sought to silence Him, He continued preaching truth. When His message offended the crowds, He didn't dilute it to maintain popularity. In [John 18:20 KJV], He declared: "I spake openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, whither the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing." Christ's public, unapologetic proclamation of truth should inspire us to similar boldness.
The early church demonstrated remarkable courage despite severe persecution. When threatened by authorities, Peter and John responded in [Acts 4:19-20 KJV]: "Whether it be right in the sight of God to hearken unto you more than unto God, judge ye. For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard." They understood that obedience to God superseded human approval or earthly consequences.
Our world desperately needs this same boldness today. Confusion reigns about fundamental truths—the nature of humanity, the definition of marriage, the sanctity of life, and the exclusivity of Christ for salvation. Into this chaos, God has placed His church as "the pillar and ground of the truth" [1 Timothy 3:15 KJV]. We possess what the world desperately needs but often rejects: absolute truth grounded in God's unchanging Word.
Standing bold for God doesn't mean being needlessly offensive or lacking compassion. [1 Peter 3:15 KJV] instructs us to be "ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear." Our boldness should be coupled with gentleness, our courage tempered with love. Yet love never requires us to compromise truth—genuine love speaks truth even when it's difficult.
The question facing every believer is this: Will we stand? Will we boldly proclaim Christ when it costs us popularity, advancement, or acceptance? Will we defend biblical truth when culture demands we conform? The world watches, searching for authenticity, for people who genuinely believe something worth living—and dying—for.
Remember the promise of [Isaiah 41:10 KJV]: "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness." God doesn't call us to boldness and then abandon us—He walks with us, strengthens us, and upholds us.
The time for timid Christianity has ended. Stand bold. Stand firm. Stand now. The world needs the truth you possess more than ever before…
With Christ's love,
Dave & Elaine
