Seize Every Moment: Declaring Christ to a World in Need!
In these urgent times, believers face a sacred responsibility that cannot be postponed or delegated—declaring Christ to those who desperately need Him. When we gather with family, friends, colleagues, or even strangers, opportunities arise that we must recognise and seize with boldness and compassion. The question echoes through eternity: if not us, then who? If not now, then when?
Scripture reminds us that our time is limited and precious. "I must work the works of him that sent me, whilst it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work" (John 9:4 KJV). Jesus Himself understood the urgency of His mission, and we must embrace that same sense of divine appointment. Every conversation, every gathering, every chance encounter could be someone's only opportunity to hear the gospel.
When someone shares a burden or faces a crisis, we mustn't simply offer sympathetic words—we must pray with authority, faith, and expectation. James instructs us: "The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much" (James 5:16 KJV). Our prayers aren't merely comforting gestures; they're powerful declarations that move heaven and transform earth. When we pray with genuine faith, believing God's promises, we participate in His miraculous work.
Paul's exhortation rings as true today as when first written: "Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine" (2 Timothy 4:2 KJV). Being "instant" means being ready, prepared, and willing regardless of circumstances or convenience. We cannot wait for perfect moments—we must create them through Spirit-led sensitivity and courage.
The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers remain few (Matthew 9:37 KJV). Countless souls around us are perishing without Christ, trapped in darkness, desperate for hope they don't even know exists. We carry the message of eternal life, the only solution to humanity's deepest problem. How can we remain silent when we possess what people so desperately need?
Fear often paralyses believers from sharing their faith. We worry about rejection, offending others, or saying the wrong thing. Yet Scripture assures us: "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind" (2 Timothy 1:7 KJV). Our boldness doesn't originate from natural confidence but from the Holy Spirit working through us.
When praying for the unsaved, we must pray with unwavering faith, believing that God desires all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of truth (1 Timothy 2:4 KJV). Our prayers should be specific, fervent, and persistent, trusting that "the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him" (2 Chronicles 16:9 KJV).
The apostles modelled this urgency perfectly. Despite persecution, imprisonment, and threats, they declared: "We cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard" (Acts 4:20 KJV). They understood that remaining silent wasn't an option when eternal destinies hung in the balance.
As believers, we must adopt this same conviction. Every gathering presents opportunities—a colleague struggling with addiction, a neighbour facing illness, a family member wrestling with depression. These aren't coincidences but divine appointments orchestrated by a loving God who positions us strategically.
The time is now. The need is urgent. The harvest awaits. If not us, then who will declare Christ? If not now, then when? Let us arise with holy boldness, pray with mountain-moving faith, and declare the gospel with unflinching courage, knowing that "faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God" (Romans 10:17 KJV).

God's Word is the Soil where our Faith takes Root!
Where deep roots meet divine truth, & lasting faith flourishes…

The Foundation of Spiritual Growth
This teaching explores how God's Word serves as the essential foundation for spiritual growth, much like fertile soil enables plants to flourish. Drawing from Jesus' parable of the Sower, it explains that when our hearts are receptive to Scripture, our faith multiplies exponentially, bearing abundant fruit. The key to cultivating this spiritual soil lies in consistent daily engagement with God's Word, transforming it from an occasional read into the very environment in which we live.
Scripture is uniquely powerful because it is living and active, capable of penetrating our hearts and transforming us from within. Unlike any other source, God's Word contains everything necessary for spiritual growth and godliness, providing complete spiritual nourishment without requiring supplements from human wisdom or worldly philosophies. However, knowledge alone isn't sufficient—we must become doers of the Word, applying what we learn to experience genuine transformation.
One practical application is learning to trust God's wisdom above our own understanding, particularly when facing difficult decisions or uncertain circumstances. When we allow Scripture to take root in our hearts through meditation, we develop confidence in God's faithful guidance. The result of being rooted in God's Word is beautifully pictured as a tree planted by rivers of water—stable, fruitful, and enduring regardless of circumstances. For those who have neglected Scripture, it's never too late to begin cultivating fertile soil through consistent daily engagement with God's Word…

Balancing Faith & Works: Our Role in God's Kingdom…
Saved by grace, called to serve—discovering the beautiful balance between God's gift and our grateful response…

The Call to Action: Living Out Our Faith
This profound exploration examines one of Christianity's most crucial theological questions: how do grace and works relate in the life of a believer? Drawing from key Scriptures, it establishes that whilst salvation comes entirely through God's unmerited grace received by faith alone, this divine gift transforms us into people created specifically for good works. The teaching reveals how genuine faith naturally produces spiritual fruit, not as a means of earning salvation, but as evidence of its transforming power. Through the beautiful imagery of Christ as the vine and believers as branches, we discover that service flows organically from our relationship with Him, motivated by love and gratitude rather than fear or obligation. Each believer receives unique spiritual gifts from the Holy Spirit, making us vital members of Christ's body with specific purposes prepared before the foundation of the world. This isn't about anxious performance to earn God's approval—that's already secured through Christ—but about faithful stewardship of the gifts and opportunities He's entrusted to us. The teaching culminates in a perfectly balanced biblical perspective: we rest securely in God's grace whilst responding with grateful, faithful service in His kingdom, understanding that our works don't create salvation but certainly demonstrate its reality in our transformed lives…

Feeding Faith!
When you teach God’s Word you are feeding people's Faith!

The Power of God's Word to Transform Lives
In a world hungry for spiritual truth, "Feeding Faith" explores the vital necessity of nourishing our souls with God's Word. Just as Jesus declared that man cannot live by bread alone, this teaching reveals how Scripture serves as the essential sustenance for our spiritual lives. Drawing from powerful biblical imagery of eating and digesting God's Word, we discover how faith grows not through our own efforts but through hearing and internalising divine truth. The message addresses both those who feast on Scripture personally and those called to feed others, emphasising the sacred responsibility of teaching God's Word accurately and faithfully. In an era saturated with spiritual junk food and compromised doctrine, this teaching calls believers back to the pure milk of the Word that promotes genuine spiritual growth. Through examining key passages from Romans, Matthew, Jeremiah, and beyond, we're reminded that God's Word possesses supernatural power to penetrate hearts, transform lives, and build vibrant communities of faith. Whether you're a pastor, teacher, or simply a believer sharing truth with friends, you're participating in God's work of spiritual nourishment. This teaching challenges us to first feed our own faith through consistent engagement with Scripture, then overflow that nourishment to others, watching as God's living Word accomplishes His purposes and advances His kingdom on earth…

Faith: The Currency of the Spiritual Realm!
Investing in the Kingdom: Where eternal dividends await those who trade in faith…

The Eternal Investment
In a world where we understand the value of physical currency—pounds, dollars, and yen—we often overlook the most powerful currency of all: faith. Just as you cannot purchase goods in a foreign country without the proper currency, you cannot access the blessings, power, and provision of God's Kingdom without faith. This profound truth transforms how we approach our relationship with God and navigate our daily lives.
Faith is more than mere belief; it's the substance that gives form to our hopes and makes the invisible realities of God's Kingdom tangible in our everyday experience. Throughout Scripture, we witness extraordinary individuals who used faith as spiritual currency to withdraw healing, miracles, and divine intervention from the spiritual realm into their physical circumstances. The woman with the issue of blood and the Roman centurion both demonstrated that faith—regardless of quantity—when placed in an infinitely powerful God, can accomplish the impossible.
But faith isn't meant to remain dormant, like money hidden under a mattress. True faith circulates through action, obedience, and declaration. It grows as we invest time in God's Word, prayer, and worship—regular deposits that build our spiritual account. We must walk by faith rather than sight, making decisions based on God's promises rather than our circumstances, and assigning ultimate value to His Word over the temporary realities we see around us.
The question we must ask ourselves today is this: are we attempting to navigate life's challenges with natural currency alone, or are we accessing God's unlimited resources through the spiritual currency of faith? Check your spiritual bank account and discover how faith—the currency of the spiritual realm—can move heaven and earth in your life…

The Unseen Battle: The Power of Prayer in Spiritual Warfare!
Prayer is our most powerful weapon in the unseen battle—connecting us to God's unlimited authority & dismantling the enemy's schemes in every area of our lives…

Prayer: The Believer's Lifeline in Spiritual Battle
Prayer is the believer's most powerful weapon in spiritual warfare, connecting us directly to God's authority over darkness. Through intercession, petition, declaration, thanksgiving, and Spirit-led supplication, we access the power that raised Christ above all principalities.
Prayer's effectiveness multiplies when we incorporate Scripture—the sword of the Spirit—declaring God's promises and aligning with His will. Persistence is essential, as spiritual victories require sustained pressure. Corporate prayer creates formidable spiritual force, with Christ present, multiplying effectiveness.
We pray not for victory but from victory—enforcing Christ's secured triumph. Every faithful prayer, declared Scripture, and Spirit-filled moment pulls down strongholds and advances God's kingdom, partnering with Him to manifest His will on earth…

Equipping New Believers…
Understanding Our Enemy: A Resource for Spiritual Warfare!
Recently, we received a request for a new believer seeking information about our enemy, Satan, to better understand the spiritual battle they've entered. In response, we published comprehensive teaching material to equip them—and all believers—for the warfare ahead.
This wasn't just another theological discussion; it was practical, Biblical instruction designed to help new Christians recognise the enemy's tactics, understand his limitations, and stand firm in Christ's victory. We covered Satan's origin, his strategies of deception, accusation, and distraction, and most importantly, how believers can resist him through the authority we have in Jesus Christ.
The Bible commands us to "be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour" (1 Peter 5:8 KJV). New believers especially need to understand that salvation places them in a spiritual battle—but it's a battle Jesus has already won. Our role is to enforce that victory through faith, prayer, and the Word of God.
If you missed this essential teaching, we encourage you to access it through our website. Whether you're a new believer seeking to understand spiritual warfare or a mature Christian wanting to help disciple others, this resource provides the Biblical foundation needed to stand strong against the enemy's schemes.
Don't go into battle unprepared—arm yourself with truth and walk in the victory Christ has secured!

Back to Basics: Christian Living - Your Faith Journey. We're excited to share insights and practical guidance to help strengthen your faith journey in 2025…
Breaking Free from Fear: The Four-Letter Word That Holds Us Back!
Fear. It's a simple four-letter word, yet it possesses extraordinary power to paralyse believers and prevent us from fulfilling our God-given calling. Throughout Scripture, we witness how fear has kept God's people from stepping into their destiny, sharing the Gospel, and living victoriously. If we are to be effective witnesses for Christ—both within the church and to the lost world beyond its walls—we must recognise fear as the enemy it is and break its shackles off our lives.
The Bible repeatedly addresses fear because God knows our human tendency towards it. In 2 Timothy 1:7 (KJV), Paul reminds us, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." This verse reveals a profound truth: fear doesn't originate from God. When we operate in fear, we're not operating in the Spirit He has given us. Instead, we're allowing something contrary to His nature to govern our actions and decisions.
Fear manifests in countless ways within the Body of Christ. We fear rejection when sharing our faith, fear judgement when standing for Biblical truth, fear failure when stepping out in ministry, and fear man's opinion more than God's approval. Yet Jesus commanded us in Matthew 28:19-20 (KJV), "Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptising them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you." This Great Commission requires courage—courage that fear seeks to steal from us.
Consider how fear prevented the Israelites from entering the Promised Land. Despite witnessing God's miraculous deliverance from Egypt, they allowed fear of the giants in Canaan to override their faith in God's promise (Numbers 13:31-33 KJV). An entire generation wandered in the wilderness because they chose fear over faith. How often do we repeat this pattern, allowing fear to keep us circling in spiritual wilderness rather than possessing what God has promised?
The antidote to fear is faith activated through love. 1 John 4:18 (KJV) declares, "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." When we grasp the perfect love of our Heavenly Father—that nothing can separate us from His love (Romans 8:38-39 KJV)—fear loses its grip. We become bold witnesses, unashamed of the Gospel (Romans 1:16 KJV), compelled by Christ's love to reach the lost (2 Corinthians 5:14 KJV).
Breaking fear's shackles requires deliberate action. We must replace fear-based thinking with God's truth, speaking His Word over our lives. Joshua 1:9 (KJV) encourages us, "Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest." God's presence accompanies us wherever He sends us—whether witnessing to a neighbour, ministering in church, or venturing into spiritually dark places.
The world desperately needs believers who will courageously proclaim truth without fear. Jesus didn't call us to comfort and safety; He called us to take up our cross and follow Him (Luke 9:23 KJV). As Proverbs 28:1 (KJV) states, "The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion." Righteous boldness—not reckless presumption, but Holy Spirit-empowered courage—is our inheritance as children of God.
Today, examine your life. Where has fear held you captive? What divine assignment have you avoided because of intimidation? Remember Paul's charge to Timothy applies equally to us: "Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ" (2 Timothy 2:3 KJV). Soldiers don't yield to fear; they advance despite it. Let us break fear's chains through faith, prayer, and obedience, becoming the bold witnesses Christ has called us to be—reaching both those within the church who need encouragement and those outside who need salvation…
With Christ's love,
Dave & Elaine
