Teaching God's Word: Staying True to the Revelation Received…
As teachers and preachers of God's Word, we bear a profound responsibility. We are not merely conveying information or sharing personal opinions—we are handling the very Word of God, entrusted to us by the Holy Spirit. This sacred duty demands that we remain faithful to the revelation we have received, regardless of how it may be received by our audience.
The apostle Paul warned Timothy about this very issue: "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears" (2 Timothy 4:3, KJV). In our modern age, this prophecy has come to fruition. Many seek messages that comfort rather than convict, that affirm rather than challenge. Yet our calling is not to please men, but to please God who has entrusted us with His message.
Paul himself declared, "But as we were allowed of God to be put in trust with the gospel, even so we speak; not as pleasing men, but God, which trieth our hearts" (1 Thessalonians 2:4, KJV). This verse establishes a crucial principle: we have been allowed of God and put in trust with the Gospel. This is not our message to modify or soften—it is His message to deliver faithfully.
The temptation to dilute God's Word when it causes offence is ever-present. We live in a culture that prizes tolerance above truth and comfort above conviction. Yet Scripture is clear about the consequences of altering God's message. "I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book: And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life" (Revelation 22:18-19, KJV).
God's Word is inherently offensive to the natural man. "But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned" (1 Corinthians 2:14, KJV). When we teach topics like repentance, holiness, judgement, and sin, we will inevitably encounter resistance. This is not a signal to compromise, but confirmation that we are speaking truth.
Jesus Himself experienced this. After teaching difficult truths, "many of his disciples went back, and walked no more with him" (John 6:66, KJV). Yet Christ did not chase after them with a watered-down version of His message. Instead, He turned to the twelve and asked if they too would leave. Peter's response should be ours: "Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life" (John 6:68, KJV).
Paul exemplified this faithfulness when he declared, "For I have not shunned to declare unto you all the counsel of God" (Acts 20:27, KJV). Notice he said all the counsel of God—not just the popular parts, not just the comfortable truths, but the complete revelation he had received.
As teachers of God's Word, we must remember that we will give account. "My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation" (James 3:1, KJV). The judgement we face for mishandling God's Word is severe precisely because the stakes are eternal. Souls hang in the balance.
Therefore, let us resolve to teach with boldness and conviction, knowing that "the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword" (Hebrews 4:12, KJV). It needs no editing from us—only faithful delivery. When we remain true to the revelation received, we honour God, serve His people well, and fulfil the sacred trust placed upon us…

Sorrow for the Church!
A Call to Return to Biblical Truth!

The Weight of Our Calling
This article confronts a sobering reality facing the modern Church: a widespread departure from biblical truth that threatens the very foundation of Christian faith. As we witness churches embracing teachings that contradict Scripture, we must ask whether there remains a path back to righteousness, or whether we are doomed to watch successive generations of weak leaders perpetuate dangerous deceptions. The article explores how Satan's subtle strategy has infiltrated the body of Christ, producing a self-reinforcing cycle where compromised leaders train even more compromised disciples. Yet amidst this darkness, there is hope. Through repentance, renewed commitment to God's Word, and earnest prayer, the Church can be restored to its biblical foundations. This is not merely an academic discussion—eternal souls hang in the balance. Every believer who loves Christ and His Church must read this urgent call to return to the truth that sanctifies and saves, remembering that whilst the challenge is great, Christ has promised that the gates of hell shall not prevail against His Church…

This isn't a call to harshness, but to balance truth with genuine love—speaking boldly whilst demonstrating Christ's compassion. Though the path is narrow and few find it, the promise remains certain: the gates of hell cannot prevail against Christ's church.

These Days…
Living in a World Without Peace, Justice, or Hope!

A Call to Action in Dark Times
We stand at a critical juncture in history—a time when darkness seems to prevail and the world has turned its back on God. Wars rage across nations, moral boundaries have been obliterated, and society celebrates what God calls evil whilst scorning righteousness. Yet amidst this chaos, there remains an urgent call for the Church to rise up and fulfil its divine mandate.
This powerful teaching confronts the sobering reality facing humanity today. Like sheep being led to the slaughter, billions wander lost and without direction, having rejected the only Hope of salvation—Jesus Christ. The Scriptures remind us that all have sinned and fallen short of God's glory, and without Christ, eternal separation awaits.
But this message is not one of despair—it is a rallying cry for action. The Great Commission is not a suggestion but a divine mandate, and every believer has been entrusted with the message of reconciliation. The Church must be holy, prayerful, and unified, living as salt and light in a decaying world. We are called to engage boldly—speaking truth, defending the oppressed, making disciples, and proclaiming the Gospel with urgency.
Despite the darkness of these days, our hope is anchored in Christ alone. He offers what the world cannot—true peace, justice, and eternal life. The fields are white unto harvest, and the labourers are few. The question is: will we answer the call?
Discover what it means to be the Church in such a time as this—awake, alive, and active in pointing the lost to the only Saviour. These are perilous days, but they are also days of great opportunity…

The Last of Us!
Standing firm on God's Word when the world falls away—will you be amongst the faithful remnant?

The Remnant in Scripture
In a time when much of the modern church has drifted from Biblical truth, there remains a faithful remnant—"the last of us"—who refuse to compromise the Word of God. This teaching explores how, just as God preserved 7,000 in Elijah's day who had not bowed to Baal, He continues to preserve a remnant today who stand firm against the tide of false doctrine sweeping through contemporary Christianity. From prosperity gospel to progressive reinterpretations of Scripture, many churches have abandoned sound teaching in favour of messages that accommodate worldly values and tickle itching ears. Yet God's faithful remnant hold fast to Biblical truth, contend earnestly for the faith once delivered to the saints, and live lives of holiness separated from worldliness. This comes at a cost—persecution, mockery, and opposition, often from within the church itself. But there is hope: God is faithful to His remnant, and those who overcome will receive the crown of life. Are you amongst "the last of us"? Will you be part of that faithful remnant who refuse to compromise, who stand firm on the Word of God regardless of the cost? This powerful message challenges believers to test all teaching against Scripture, speak truth in love, and remain faithful to the end, knowing that our perseverance rests not on our strength but on God's keeping power…

The Unseen Battle: The Ultimate Victory!
Christ's Triumph and Our Eternal Hope!

Victory Through Christ: Our Unshakeable Foundation
Christians often forget the most liberating truth: the victory has already been won. "The Unseen Battle: The Ultimate Victory!" explores how through Christ's death and resurrection, believers fight from victory, not for it. This teaching journeys through Scripture to understand Christ's decisive triumph at Calvary, where apparent defeat was actually the crushing blow to darkness. From Genesis's promise that the serpent's head would be bruised to the declaration that death is swallowed up in victory, we discover our identity is rooted in Christ's finished work, not our struggles.
This message offers practical power for daily living. Learn to stand firm in your position seated with Christ, wield Scripture against temptation, and walk in the Spirit's power rather than your own strength. Discover why endurance in spiritual warfare means trusting God's faithfulness when the way seems impossible, not trying harder. Most importantly, glimpse the eternal triumph awaiting Christ's return, when every tear will be wiped away and God will dwell with His people forever. This teaching will transform how you view daily battles, remind you whose you are, and inspire you to pass this legacy of victory to the next generation. Join us as we celebrate the Ultimate Victory already ours through Jesus Christ our Lord…

Godly Confrontation: Restoring the Fallen with Grace & Truth!
Confrontation is never easy, especially within the body of Christ. Yet Scripture is clear that confronting sin with love and humility is essential to maintaining the purity and health of the church. The goal of godly confrontation is not condemnation but restoration—bringing back those who have strayed from the path of righteousness.
The apostle Paul instructed the Galatian believers: "Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted" (Galatians 6:1, KJV). This verse establishes the framework for biblical confrontation: it must be done by those who are spiritually mature, with gentleness, and with self-awareness of our own vulnerability to sin.
Before confronting another believer, we must examine our own hearts. Jesus warned against hypocrisy: "And why beholdest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye, but considerest not the beam that is in thine own eye?" (Matthew 7:3, KJV). We cannot effectively restore others whilst harbouring unconfessed sin ourselves. True confrontation begins with personal repentance and humility before God.
Jesus outlined a clear process for addressing sin within the church. "Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee and him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother" (Matthew 18:15, KJV). The first step is private—approaching the individual directly, not gossiping to others. This protects their dignity and provides opportunity for repentance without public shame.
If private confrontation fails, Jesus instructed: "But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established" (Matthew 18:16, KJV). This second step involves witnesses who can confirm the facts and encourage reconciliation. Only if these attempts fail should the matter be brought before the church (Matthew 18:17, KJV).
The motive behind confrontation must always be love, not judgment. Paul wrote: "Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins" (James 5:19-20, KJV). Our concern should be for the spiritual wellbeing of our brother or sister, desiring their restoration to fellowship with God and the church.
When we confront in the spirit of meekness, we acknowledge our shared humanity and dependence on God's grace. We approach not as judges but as fellow pilgrims who have also stumbled and been lifted up by Christ's mercy. This attitude creates an atmosphere where repentance can flourish.
Restoration requires patience and forgiveness. Peter asked Jesus, "Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?" Jesus replied, "I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven" (Matthew 18:21-22, KJV). Unlimited forgiveness mirrors God's grace towards us.
Ultimately, godly confrontation reflects Christ's heart for the lost and wayward. It combines truth with grace, justice with mercy, and accountability with compassion. When done biblically, confrontation becomes a powerful tool for redemption, turning sinners from destruction and strengthening the entire body of Christ in holiness and love…
With Christ's love,
Dave & Elaine
