Building Your Faith on Biblical Foundations! Discover core Christian principles and deepen your relationship with Christ through biblical teaching and practical application…
Doubt: The Gateway to Deeper Faith!
Doubt is an experience that touches every believer's life at some point. It creeps in quietly, often during our most vulnerable moments, causing us to question what God has revealed to us. Yet doubt, whilst uncomfortable, can serve a divine purpose—it forces us to examine our faith, ask difficult questions, and ultimately draw closer to the Lord.
When doubt arises, we find ourselves in an internal battle. We wonder: "Was that truly God's voice I heard? Did He really promise this? Can I trust what I believe?" This struggle isn't new. Throughout Scripture, we see faithful servants wrestling with similar questions. Thomas, despite walking with Jesus, declared, "Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe" (John 20:25, KJV). His doubt wasn't condemned but met with compassion and proof.
Doubt compels us to search the Scriptures more deeply. When we question what God has revealed, we're driven to His Word for confirmation. The Bereans exemplified this noble approach: "These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so" (Acts 17:11, KJV). Their questions didn't diminish their faith; rather, they strengthened it through diligent study.
The presence of doubt doesn't indicate a lack of faith. Even John the Baptist, whom Jesus called the greatest born of women, sent messengers from prison asking, "Art thou he that should come, or do we look for another?" (Matthew 11:3, KJV). Jesus didn't rebuke him but offered reassurance through evidence of His ministry. This teaches us that doubt can coexist with genuine faith.
Our response to doubt matters immensely. James instructs us: "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him" (James 1:5, KJV). When doubt arises, we should bring our questions directly to God. He welcomes our honest enquiries and promises to provide clarity without reproach.
However, James also warns: "But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed" (James 1:6, KJV). Whilst questioning is acceptable, we must maintain a foundation of trust in God's character and promises. Doubt becomes destructive when it leads to complete unbelief rather than deeper investigation.
The battle with doubt can refine our faith like fire refines gold. Peter wrote: "That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ" (1 Peter 1:7, KJV). Each question we wrestle through strengthens our spiritual understanding.
Ultimately, doubt can lead us to a more mature, tested faith. When we emerge from questioning with renewed conviction, we possess something more substantial than inherited belief—we have personal knowledge of God's faithfulness. Let your doubts drive you to God's Word, to prayer, and to honest conversation with Him. He is faithful to meet you there…

The Dangerous Cult of the Prophetic in the Modern Church!
A Soul-Driven Counterfeit of Prophecy…

A Call to Biblical Discernment & Truth
In a time when the church faces unprecedented spiritual confusion, "The Dangerous Cult of the Prophetic in the Modern Church" cuts through the noise with unflinching biblical clarity. This powerful teaching exposes how soul-driven counterfeits have infiltrated modern Christianity, masquerading as genuine prophecy whilst leading believers away from the sufficiency of Scripture. Drawing from the unchanging authority of God's Word, this message challenges the sensationalism, emotional manipulation, and false prophetic claims that characterise today's prophetic movements. Discover why true biblical prophecy must always align with Scripture, how to recognise the warning signs of counterfeit revelation, and why the remedy lies in returning to the solid foundation of God's inspired Word. If you've ever questioned the constant stream of prophetic predictions flooding social media, or wondered whether your faith should depend on the latest prophetic utterance, this teaching provides the biblical discernment you desperately need. It's time to stop chasing after prophetic novelties and return to the simplicity and sufficiency of Christ revealed in Scripture. This isn't just another opinion piece—it's a clarion call back to biblical truth that could protect you from spiritual deception and anchor your faith in the unchanging Word of God…

Why Is Everyone Producing Their Own Version of the Bible?
The Danger of Shaping the Word of God into Man's Own Image…

The Unchanging Foundation of Truth
Are you troubled by the rising trend of personalised Bible versions that reshape Scripture to fit modern preferences? In this powerful teaching, we confront a critical question facing the Church today: Why is everyone producing their own version of the Bible?
Discover why tampering with God's Word is not just unwise but spiritually dangerous. From the garden of Eden to today's digital age, humanity has consistently struggled with the temptation to question and reshape what God has clearly said. This message explores how modern Bible versions often dilute, distort, or delete crucial passages to make Scripture more palatable to contemporary culture—and why this compromises the transformative power of God's Word.
Learn why the Holy Spirit cannot fully guide us through altered texts, how reshaping Scripture creates a god in our own image, and what the Bible itself says about adding to or removing from God's Word. Drawing from passages like Revelation 22:18-19 KJV, 2 Timothy 3:16-17 KJV, and Hebrews 4:12 KJV, this teaching calls believers back to reverent submission to the pure, unadulterated Word of God.
If you've ever wondered whether it matters which Bible version you read, or if you've felt uneasy about the proliferation of modernised translations, this message provides biblical clarity and a compelling call to faithful stewardship of the greatest treasure we've been given—God's unchanging revelation of Himself…

Why Are People Chasing the Prophetic in the Modern Day Church?
When God's Word is enough, why are we still searching for more?

The Sufficiency of Scripture
In a time when believers are increasingly drawn to prophetic experiences and supernatural encounters, this challenging teaching asks a vital question: if Scripture is truly sufficient, why are we searching for more? This piece examines the modern obsession with prophetic ministry through a biblical lens, demonstrating that God's Word already thoroughly equips us for every spiritual need. It explores the essential truth that genuine revelation requires being born again and receiving the Holy Spirit, whilst warning that many contemporary prophetic practices disturbingly mirror occult methodologies forbidden in Scripture. Rather than emptying our minds in mystical meditation, believers are called to fill them with God's Word, which remains our "more sure word of prophecy". This teaching issues an urgent call to return to biblical Christianity, rejecting the pursuit of experiences over doctrine and anchoring ourselves once more to the unchanging foundation of Scripture. For anyone concerned about the direction of modern church practice, this message offers a timely reminder of where our true source of revelation lies…

You Can’t Weaponize Christianity for your Own Agenda!
Faith is not a weapon to wield for personal gain—it's a cross to carry in humble obedience to Christ…

The Gospel Cannot Be Co-opted
In a world where Christianity is increasingly being co-opted for political movements, social campaigns, and personal ambitions, we must return to a fundamental truth: faith cannot be weaponised for anyone's agenda. This powerful message challenges the alarming trend of people attempting to bend Christ's teachings to fit their own narratives, reminding us that the gospel stands on its own, untainted by human manipulation.
True Christianity requires us to deny ourselves and take up our cross, not to use our faith as a tool for personal gain. Throughout history, from the Crusades to modern political manipulation, the misuse of Christianity has consistently misrepresented God and driven people away from genuine faith. Jesus Himself rejected worldly power at every turn, refusing to compromise His mission for political influence or earthly kingdoms.
Our weapons are spiritual, not worldly. Prayer, love, truth, and God's Word are the tools of authentic Christianity—not manipulation, coercion, or political control. The moment we try to use Christianity for our purposes, we've departed from true faith. Christ's kingdom is not of this world, and it operates on principles completely different from worldly power structures.
This teaching calls us to authenticity: to approach every situation by first asking "What does God want?" rather than "How can I use my faith to get what I want?" It challenges us to let Scripture transform our agendas rather than twisting Scripture to validate them. Join us as we explore why Christianity cannot be weaponised and discover what it truly means to follow Christ with humility, love, and faithfulness…

The Unseen Battle: Passing on the Legacy of Spiritual Warfare!
Equipping today's believers to pass tomorrow's victory—because the battle is real, but so is our God…

Practical Steps for Passing on the Legacy
In a world where spiritual battles rage unseen, one of our greatest responsibilities as believers is to equip the next generation for the warfare they will face. This powerful teaching explores the biblical mandate to pass on the legacy of spiritual warfare, drawing from Scripture's clear instructions in Deuteronomy 6:6-7 (KJV) and 2 Timothy 2:2 (KJV). We examine the sobering warning from Judges 2:10 (KJV), where an entire generation lost knowledge of God in just one lifetime, and consider what this means for us today.
Through careful biblical exposition, this message reveals the four essential elements that must be transferred to those who follow us: the truth of God's Word, the reality of the spiritual realm, practical spiritual disciplines, and testimonies of God's faithfulness. We discover that this transfer happens most effectively through relationship and example, in everyday moments rather than just formal teaching settings. The goal isn't to create fearful believers, but to raise up confident, equipped Christians who understand they fight from a position of victory already secured by Christ.
As the Apostle Paul reminded Timothy, our strength comes not from our own ability but from grace in Christ Jesus. This teaching challenges us to be intentional about investing in the next generation, creating safe spaces for honest questions, and living out authentic faith that demonstrates the power of spiritual warfare in daily life. The battle continues, but so does God's faithfulness. Will we be found faithful in passing on this precious legacy?

The Confidence of Being in God's Hands!
As believers, one of the most profound truths we can embrace is the assurance that we rest securely in God's hands. This confidence isn't rooted in our own strength or circumstances, but in the unchanging character of our Heavenly Father. When we truly grasp this reality, it transforms how we face life's uncertainties, trials, and even our daily walk with Christ.
The psalmist understood this deep security, declaring, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want" (Psalm 23:1, KJV). This isn't mere optimism or positive thinking—it's a declaration of faith in God's faithful provision and care. When we acknowledge Him as our Shepherd, we recognise that we're under His watchful eye, guided by His wisdom, and protected by His power.
Jesus Himself spoke powerfully about this security: "And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand" (John 10:28-29, KJV). What remarkable assurance! We're held not just in Christ's hand, but in the Father's hand as well—a double grip of divine security that no force can break.
This confidence shouldn't make us passive or complacent. Rather, it should embolden us to live courageously for Christ. The apostle Paul demonstrated this when he wrote, "I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me" (Philippians 4:13, KJV). His confidence wasn't in himself but in the One who held him fast.
When we face trials and uncertainties, we can echo the words of David: "What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee" (Psalm 56:3, KJV). Fear may be a natural human response, but faith is our supernatural resource. We acknowledge our feelings whilst anchoring ourselves in God's faithfulness.
The prophet Isaiah reminds us of God's intimate involvement in our lives: "Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness" (Isaiah 41:10, KJV). Notice the progression—He is with us, He strengthens us, He helps us, and He upholds us. This is active, engaged divine care.
Paul's testimony in Romans provides further assurance: "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord" (Romans 8:38-39, KJV). This exhaustive list confirms that nothing—absolutely nothing—can remove us from God's loving grip.
This confidence transforms our perspective on suffering. We can say with Job, "Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him" (Job 13:15, KJV). Even in the darkest valleys, we remain secure in His hands.
Living with this confidence means we can face tomorrow without anxiety. Jesus taught, "Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself" (Matthew 6:34, KJV). When we know we're in God's hands, we can release our grip on worry and rest in His provision.
The confidence we have in being held by God isn't presumption—it's biblical faith. It's trusting that the One who began a good work in us will complete it (Philippians 1:6 KJV). Today, rest in this truth: you are held secure in the hands of the Almighty God, and nothing can change that reality…
With Christ's love,
Dave & Elaine
