Why this page exists
Welcome. Back to Basics: Christian living exists for one reason — to open the Bible plainly and help ordinary believers live what it says. Not theory, not entertainment, and not another opinion added to the pile. The King James Bible, quoted exactly, taught in plain English, with one clear step to take at the end of every teaching.
What you will not find here is hype, celebrity, gimmicks or the world's spirituality dressed up in Christian language. What you will find is the Word opened honestly, week in and week out — But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves [James 1:22 KJV].
If you have never read the Bible for yourself, or you have drifted and want to come back, you are exactly who this page is for.

Before anything else, find out who you already are in Christ. This series is the foundation everything else here is built on. Read them in order — one a week is plenty.

What turns up each week
• Monday to Thursday — four teachings on one subject, each with a video, so that by Thursday you have been taught one truth from four sides.

• Sunday — The Christian Compass, one email that gathers the week: what we taught, one verse, one step to take, one testimony, and what is coming next.
